Balkan Lavender – 2020 Season
Balkan Lavender
October 29, 2020
Starting off the year of 2020 with many new juvenile plantations from the previous year 2019, we had our hands full for 2020.
With barely any snow from winter and very little rain it was overall a very dry year in our region of Bulgaria, but that did not stop us from achieving what he had set out to achieve. The juvenile fields managed to thrive and with stand the harsh conditions which was great to see but this was expected as we control our crop by first growing them from seed to saplings ensuring the best ones are only planted for our crop.

MEANWHILE OUR OTHER FIELDS ARE THRIVING!

WE HAD OUR FIRST BLOOM FOR 2020 in JUNE
Coming closer to the harvest season we had our first bloom around the third week of June 2020. This time is quite spectacular as you see many fields turning from green into seas of purple covering Bulgaria.
So with the harvest around the corner and coming quickly we began to prepare our distillery for the upcoming season.
AND AS SOON AS YOU KNOW IT BECAME TIME TO HARVEST FOR 2020’s SEASON!
We began to harvest our Bulgarian Lavender and extract its 100% Pure & Natural essential oil on the 27th of June 2020 and continued all the way through up to the 26th of July 2020
Working effortlessly to produce the best 100% Pure & Natural Bulgarian Lavender Essential oil we possibly can, 2020 was a good year for us! Balkan Lavender managed to produce just over 5,000KGs of pure & natural Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil!
undiluted pure & Natural BULGARIAN LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
We keep each field harvest seperated from one another during extraction. As not all plants grow the same and not every Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil comes out with the same chemical values, each year varies depending on many factors but we respect what mother nature provides us with.
Balkan Lavender does not believe in the practices of diluting, mixing or adding synthetics to any of our produced oils to raise or lower the Linalyl Acetate & Linalool levels. What is extracted directly from our Bulgarian Lavender in the distillery is what we sell & provide to our customers and our laboratory results reflect just that.
